Blake Leighton!

Blake Leighton Gifford was born March 22, 2010 at 12:12 p.m.
He weighted 8 lbs 4 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.
We went to the hospital at 6:15 a.m. and started receiving pitocin around 8:30 a.m.
I was trying to hold off on getting an epidural because last time it seemed to slow things down but at about 10:45 the pain was getting pretty bad and I got my epidural. At 11:16 my water broke by itself. I couldn't find a comfortable spot to lay after that. The doctor got there and had me do 2 groups of pushing and Blake was there about 10 min. after the doctor arrived. Blake had his cord wrapped around his leg and neck but the doctor got him untangled quickly and he has had no problems. He had a little bit of high numbers for jaundice but we have taken him in everyday to get checked and Sunday the 28th his numbers were fine. We got to go home from the hospital on Tuesday the 23rd around 2 p.m. because everything looked good with mom and baby. We were so excited to go home and be with Bryce and have are family together.
